there was a scene in the movie where the parents get kidnapped by the decepticons.. its in the streets of paris at night. just fyi.
I know, but no explanation to why they're captured. They're never used as leverage, and Shia has no idea that they've been taken until they appeared. So even though you see the attack happen, there is no element of the story that explains the motivation for their capture and why the Decepticons basically let them go once they make it to Egypt….
It's just poor writing… (or poor editing that makes the writers look bad)
ya.. also, are we supposed to believe that the general public still does not know about the aliens after the 1st movie? what about the giant battle in the city at the end of the movie? wtf.
